OPAC Barata , a consultant company in oil and gas industry is established since 1999. Our Long Term Aim is to create and give value. Both tangible and in the hearts and minds of the people who work here and deal with us. Currently we have some projects with some International Oil Company and require, some contract personnel for position below:
Geosciences Technical Support (GeoTech)
Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize the company geological and geophysical library, seismic data, well files, geological maps and database
Oversee, track and collect data for wells drilled on company acreage from operators
Coordinate with third parties/ operators to ensure receipt of well data, seismic data, etc.
Support development of prospects on company owned and leased minerals for drilling
Plan and organize projects and prospects using geological skills
Qualifications:
Male/ Female
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (preferably Geologist and/or Geophysicist)
Have at least 2 years of experience in as GeoTech in oil and gas industry
Advanced Microsoft Office skill (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Good organizational and time management skills
Outstanding English written and oral communication skills to include professional phone etiquette
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Experience with handling confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism
Senior Drilling Engineer
Qualifications:
Drilling Engineer with 8 to 12 years relevant experience
Support growing drilling team on a variety of projects within Asia Pacific
Good knowledge of land based and offshore drilling activity with track record of experience with directional, ERD and/or HPHT wells
Candidate must be able to model casing design scenarios using Landmark Wellcat
Candidate must be competent with other Landmark Wellplan modules including Stresscheck, Compass, Torque & Drag, Hydraulics
Applicant must be able to compile client reports in English
Must be willing to travel (Asia Pacific head office in Kuala Lumpur)
Junior Drilling Engineer
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (preferably Petroleum Engineer)
Drilling with Engineer with 0 to 3 years relevant experience
Having good English skill both written and oral
Having good data management skill and computer literacy
Good communication skills, technical maturity and flexibility to adjust to changes
Geological & Geophysical (G & G)
Qualifications:
Experience in oil & gas fields, appraisal and development
10 to 15 years of relevant experience in industry to a senior technical level
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Geology/ Geophysics
Extensive 3D/ 2D seismic interpretation
Proven record of leading successful exploration, prospect generation and evaluation
Naval Engineer (Architect)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years experience in design and construction of offshore oil and gas floating facilities, particularly FPSO
Experienced as a naval architect in FEED ideal
Knowledge of industry standards and codes including classification society rules (quality, safety and others) applicable to naval architecture for offshore floating facilities including FPSO
Experience in supervision of physical model test
Familiar with project safety management
Having the flexible mind and sparing no efforts to implement the services
