As a Channel Specialist, you will be implementing agreed sales channel sales strategy in specified market for Motion business area in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will also plan and execute channel initiatives and continuously monitor channel performance. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the key targets (volume, price, mix etc) for the channel in the specified market.
Your responsibilities
- Implementing agreed sales channel sales strategy in specified market.
- Ensuring targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) are achieved, and making sure that detailed business plans are in place.
- Identifying and evaluating channel partners together with the Channel or Sales Manager and regularly reporting the progress against the channel strategy, plans and budgets
- Contributing in sales negotiations and negotiates frame agreements and creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers.
- Collaborating with Marketing and Sales and executes those activities that require channel/segment partner participation and Implementing the planned communication, promotion and training activities in the channel/ segment.
- Supporting in driving strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers.
- Supporting in evaluation/certification and training of channel partners.
Your background
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in channels, preferred in electrical environment.
- Good experience in sales negotiations and frameworks.
- Bachelor of Engineering or similar is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills preferred.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
