Job description:

• Have design experience in hot and cold water systems, sewer and waste water systems, drainage design

• Perform engineering design duties such as design, engineering calculations, planning, tender preparation/evaluations to as part of the engineering project team

• Liaison with clients, project managers, architects, contractors, cross disciplinary engineers as required to carry out the works

• Resolve any technical problems faced during project design and/or construction stages

• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Clients and Authorities.

• Manage projects to meet the time, cost, quality and safety objectives.

• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site and attend meetings during the construction phase of projects.

• To prepare documents for Authority submission.

• Degree qualifications in mechanical engineering or similar function.

• Between 8-12 years relevant experience in MRT/LRT/rail projects

• Experience and knowledge of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques.

• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, consultants and sub-contractors, etc.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, to meet deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team
