Job Purpose and Impact

The Mechanical Engineering will coordinate overall governance on standards, application, gaps, solutions and measurements to increase production quality, efficiency and volume for the business. The purpose of the position is to lead & execute detailed design mechanical engineering activities for Engineering-Procurement-Construction during project stage and during operational stage. In this role, will plan and direct the daily activities of mechanical technicians performing preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance to the asset management program.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with leadership to execute compliance of mechanical (piping, rotating) and equipment engineering standards, policies, procedures and job aids with regulatory standards and alignment with global, regional and industry standards.
• Monitor and maintain accountability measures and reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance and corporate benchmark metrics and measurement to foster effective utilization and integrity of automated tools and systems.
• Deploy the tactical development and delivery oversight of vision, direction and strategy for mechanical and equipment engineering.
• Coordinate mechanical and equipment engineering and policies globally and regionally.
• Analyze and propose recommendations in areas of improvement and implement solutions to improve performance and determine acceptable risk tolerance.
• Oversee advanced support for mechanical and equipment engineering in capital projects.
• Applying project construction for Mechanical management system and implementation of the Maintenance program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years in similar role as Mechanical Engineer or supervisor in indrustrial background, such as oleochemical, biodiesel, refinery edible oil, bio ethanol, Mechanical power, and similar liquid base industry
• Demonstrate the ability to learn skillful technology related to process and to think critically with respect to troubleshooting, change and improvements
• Good understanding of the asset integrity, corrosion management, Process Safety Management and occupational safety management
• Must have basic knowledge of construction methods such as steel building construction, piping and process vessel installation, mechanical equipment installation, etc
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft office (word, excel, power point, outlook)
• Familiar with the EHS regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding predictive Mechanical tool such as vibration analysis, wireless laser alignment, Ultrasonic Analysis Microphone, borescope, thickness gauge, etc.
• Good understanding on CMMS
• Having software skill in mechncial fluid, autocad & 3D modeling
• Must be familiar with industry standard codes such as ASME, ASTM, NFPA, ANSI, JIS, etc.
• Capable of building collaborative working relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Good organizational skill, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Understanding of and commitment to EHS priciples and ethical practice
• Demonstrate ability to transfer EHS knowledge to project team and contractors in term of mechanical
