As an APAC Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution of the Baker Hughes Oilfield Services (OFS) auditing program, including internal, certification, customers, regulatory/statutory or any other relevant auditable industry standards. In addition, you will also support the Regional Quality Assurance Leaders whose responsibilities at regional levels such as tender and contracts reviews, interface with other Regional functions (AMO & Service Delivery).

As an APAC Quality Assurance Engineer , you’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring and executing internal audits according the established internal audit schedule.
• Supporting Assembly Maintenance Overhaul (AMO) and Service Delivery locations during customer audits as necessary.
• Receiving certification bodies audits (certification, surveillance or multi-site).
• Providing to the Regions regulatory and industry standards expertise (ISO, API, BASEEFA, ATEX, CE, etc.).
• Raising corrective actions for any nonconformities found and follow up, review effectiveness until proper closure.
• Ensuring that annual risk assessment for internal audit prioritization is performed.
• Ensuring the continuity and integrity of the ISO 9001:2015 multi-site certification or any stand-alone certification in the Region.
• Ensuring the integrity of the Quality Management System in the Region.
• Performing API Q2 annual stand-alone internal audits for API Q2 conforming or certified locations and receive API certification and surveillance audits.
• Performing API Q1 annual stand-alone internal audits for API Q1 conforming or certified locations and receive API certification and surveillance audits.
• Reviewing quality requirements for tenders and contracts ensuring that Baker Hughes can comply and properly execute.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have educational background in Technical or Engineering study, desirable Bachelor or higher.
• Have extensive and relevant experience in Quality Engineering in any industries with International or regional working exposure.
• Show expertise or deep knowledge of Management system.
• Have ability and experience to lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015 (ISO 19011).
• Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards such as but not limited to API Q1, API Q2, API product Specifications.
• Display knowledge of inspection and testing standards.
• Demonstrate proven ability to interface with regional quality engineering team in APAC region.
• Have ability to travel at short notice to potentially regional locations.
• Display an excellent English fluency both spoken and written with PC literacy.
• Have interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to work independently and skills in performing audits remotely.
